Former Head Coach & Captain of the Indian Cricket Team
Anil Kumble is one of only three bowlers ever, to have taken all 10 wickets in a Test innings. An eighteen-year cricket career saw him become the third-highest wicket-taker in Tests, and he remains the highest wicket-taker for India in One Day Internationals.
In his second innings, Anil has actively been involved in leadership roles – having served as the President of the Karnataka State Cricket Association; mentoring the Mumbai Indians to an IPL as well as the Champions League Title; serving as coach of the Indian team that went on to win all the bi-lateral Test and ODI series that they took part in; and is also currently serving as the Chairman of the Cricket Committee at ICC, and Head of Cricket for Punjab Kings.
