Sonu Yadav, an all rounder from Hosur, Tamil Nadu made his T20 debut in 2021, for Tamil Nadu in the 2020–21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and made his List A debut in February 2021, for Tamil Nadu in the 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He is currently a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad in the IPL. His impressive all-round displays in the domestic games has made him one of the most sort after properties in cricket with TNPL team Nellai Royal kings spending more than 15 Lakhs on him making him the top few buys in the auction.
